Albums
The Hot Flushes have recorded two albums that capture our unique four-part harmony and diverse repertoire. You can listen to sample snippets of our work below.
Sentimental Journey
Originally focussing on girl group songs from the sixties, The Hot Flushes’ repertoire has gradually expanded to include seventies pop hits, popular show tunes and poignant ballads in four-part harmony.
After performing with several local concert bands, including The Mordialloc Jazz Orchestra, Chelsea Concert Band and Southern Area Concert Band, we discovered yet another era of fabulous music, the 30s and 40s, when the airwaves were dominated by another famous girl group.
Our second album Sentimental Journey is a trip through the decades, remembering iconic songs and memorable dance tunes, many of which we (or our parents!) grew up with. In other words, a sentimental journey.

Serendipity
Serendipity refers to happy discoveries made by chance. The Hot Flushes formed in 2002 following a chance meeting in the Sandybeach Choir and the happy discovery of firm friendships forged by a love of music and performance.
From humble beginnings singing at street festivals and local markets, to regular appearances at a diversity of Melbourne venues, including the prestigious MCG, the journey so far has been nothing short of extraordinary. Their first collection of songs is for all those who have shared the many good times along the way and for the audiences they look forward to discovering as their story continues to unfolds.
